our national flag : Let the flag unfurl high in the sky. The Indian National Flag represents the hopes and aspirations of the Indians. It symbolises our national pride.
Indian tricolour is made from pure Khadi cotton and the Bunting cloth used as the sleeve for the flag is also made from the same cloth. The toggles used are made from well seasoned timbers like Haldu, Padauk, Sheesham, Sal or Teak wood.
The cloth is hand spun on the ‘’Charaka”, using cotton yarns. The Chakra at the centre of the flag is printed in Blue colour.
This Indian flag is produced by the Karnataka Khadi Gramodyoga Samyukta Sangha, Bengeri, Hubli. They are the sole manufacturers of the Indian national flags strictly adhering to Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS).
All the Pole flags sold on are with BIS certification and are recommended to hoist the flag where the mast’s height is above 40 feet.
